Ciao Piroska: I did a tour of Eastern Europe and we got to visit Hungary. I was in Budapest and then took some day trips from there to outside towns. One place, of course I can't remember the name, was famous for crystal and antiques, but the pinwheel pattern of crystal was not my taste and the other cost too much, so I found a small glass vase by Galle and a fossil. Another time we went to a horse ranch and got a ride in a wagon and then had a chance to ride these huge big black horses that the men did all sorts of riding stunts with. It was great. I loved it--especially the market day in Budapest: I bought some souvenirs and saffron as I recall. Never got a chance to go and soak in the water and mud at the Gellar spa though. Maybe next time.
Charming old world homes

That's a big difference live in it, or visiting as a tourist.
